This weekend the Cape York Harley Owners Group celebrated our 30th Anniversary at the Cairns Showground.  Established in Cairns in 1992, the Cape York Harley Owners Group has been an active community of Harley Davidson enthusiasts whose purpose is to ride and have fun.  Club Chapters from Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Central Highlands, Melbourne and Darwin, with 100 attendees rode up to Cairns for a weekend of fun and fellowship.

We are pleased to announce that the 30th Anniversary Chapter Challenge Winner was The Cape York Harley Owners Group

Many residents may have noticed a large number of Harley Davidsons traveling up the Captain Cook Highway on Sunday morning.  That was what is aptly termed a Thunder Run.  It wa 65 Harley’s cruising Captain Cook to Port Douglas and back as a part of the traditional Chapter Challenge.

Thanks to all the Cape York Harley Owners Group members and the Cairns Community for making our 30th Anniversary a wonderful celebration.
